CSA Application- Summer 2022

Thank you for your interest in Supa Fresh’s CSA program! Please fill out the form below to apply for a summer 2022 share. Filling out an application does NOT guarantee a spot in our CSA. When your spot is secured, you will receive a confirmation email with further payment instructions based on the information entered in your form.

  • CSA member spots will be held temporarily once this application is submitted. Please submit payment as soon as possible to secure your spot. Because Supa Fresh Youth Farm is a non-profit program, your CSA purchase counts as a donation and is, therefore, tax-deductible. Ask us for our tax ID. CSA proceeds go toward paying the farmers and purchasing farm supplies.
  • We offer an income-based discount for our CSA, as well as payment plans to help more families have access. If you are concerned about the price, please contact us at youth.farmer@gmail.com or (503) 984-4790 to discuss income-based discounts. You might be surprised by how affordable it can be! If you would like to help out a family in our community, consider becoming a sponsor and donating a CSA share. Contact us for more details.
  • Weekly or Bi-Weekly, 4 - 6PM, June 23rd to September 29th (Bi-Weekly starts on June 23rd or June 30th; will determine once membership is confirmed). PICKUP LOCATION: Creekside Community High School, 8040 SW Durham Road, Tigard OR 97224
  • Shares not picked up by 6:00 PM will be distributed to our farmers or food pantry, unless other arrangements have been made for after-hours pickup. To arrange for after-hours pickup or to change your pickup time (24 hour notice required) please contact us at youth.farmer@gmail.com or (503) 984-4790. If you are running late to pick up, please let us know and your share will be set aside for a later pickup time.
  • Members should be aware of the inherent risks of farming, that there is no way of knowing what the nature of each growing season will bring; they should be willing to share the risk and reap the benefits along with the farmers. Members are responsible for picking up their shares at the pickup site during the designated time period, or to send someone in their absence; otherwise their share will be donated one of the youth farmers. Members must provide a minimum notice of 24 hours if they need to cancel or reschedule their pickup, and they must understand that the ability to reschedule a pickup is (usually) limited to the operating hours of the farm.
  • Supa Fresh Farmers will provide each CSA member with quality, seasonal produce, including a diverse range of vegetables, herbs, berries and flowers, grown using organic techniques. The farmers will process produce in ways that keep our members and their families safe, and that will make preparing them easier. The farmers will make every effort to contact CSA members who are late/forgot to pick up their shares, in order to get them their produce before donating unclaimed shares. The farmers will keep members informed and up-to-date with weekly news, recipes and information on their CSA boxes in the youth-generated newsletter and blog. The farmers will provide excellent service to members as well as include them in celebrations, activities, and events at the farm. The program staff will assist youth farmers to ensure members received excellent produce and service, while also providing the youth with mentoring, employment training, and the opportunity to develop the skills and experience that will help them be successful in life.
  • The Supa Fresh Youth Farm is committed to fostering a healthy, connected community around local food and does so, in part, by offering CSA members and their families opportunities to participate in farm activities and events. We encourage CSA members to visit the farm, meet the farmers, join us in our work, and celebrate us. CSA proceeds go toward paying youth farmers and buying farm supplies. Thank you for your support.
