If you are running late to pick up, please let us know and your share will be set aside for a later pickup time.MEMBER AGREEMENT: Members should be aware of the inherent risks of farming, that there is no way of knowing what the nature of each growing season will bring; they should be willing to share the risk and reap the benefits along with the farmers. Members are responsible for picking up their shares at the pickup site during the designated time period, or to send someone in their absence; otherwise their share will be donated one of the youth farmers. Members must provide a minimum notice of 24 hours if they need to cancel or reschedule their pickup, and they must understand that the ability to reschedule a pickup is (usually) limited to the operating hours of the farm.ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE: *Date FARMER AGREEMENT: Supa Fresh Farmers will provide each CSA member with quality, seasonal produce, including a diverse range of vegetables, herbs, berries and flowers, grown using organic techniques. The farmers will process produce in ways that keep our members and their families safe, and that will make preparing them easier. The farmers will make every effort to contact CSA members who are late/forgot to pick up their shares, in order to get them their produce before donating unclaimed shares. The farmers will keep members informed and up-to-date with weekly news, recipes and information on their CSA boxes in the youth-generated newsletter and blog. The farmers will provide excellent service to members as well as include them in celebrations, activities, and events at the farm. The program staff will assist youth farmers to ensure members received excellent produce and service, while also providing the youth with mentoring, employment training, and the opportunity to develop the skills and experience that will help them be successful in life. The Supa Fresh Youth Farm is committed to fostering a healthy, connected community around local food and does so, in part, by offering CSA members and their families opportunities to participate in farm activities and events. We encourage CSA members to visit the farm, meet the farmers, join us in our work, and celebrate us. CSA proceeds go toward paying youth farmers and buying farm supplies.
